Ayio

This is packaging for a health and wellness brand called Ayio. Ayio means “sunshine” in Ibibio which is a commonly spoken language in Nigeria. This is a skin care brand specifically marketed towards individuals with more melanated skin. Along with the name, I wanted to incorporate my Nigerian heritage in multiple parts of the brand. I used Adobe Illustrator and Procreate to create illustrative lines, shapes, and motifs that are commonly seen in traditional Nigerian face and body painting.
