To Kill A Mockingbird

This is a book cover I made for the novel, To Kill A Mockingbird. It is a coming of age story set in Alabama that follows two siblings, their dad who's a lawyer, and racism in the deep South. This novel is often found on required reading lists. Over the past ten years, graphic novels have also made there way into curriculums due to them being proficient in providing visual reinforcement to help understand text. With adobe illustrator and procreate, I used many techniques that are commonly seen on graphic novels like heavy black line work and cell shading to appeal to one of the novels biggest demographic.
